Anthony Marcel Lavigne, 23, Beaver Creek, Yukon
On June 27, 1996, Anthony Lavigne was fatally injured while working road construction on the Alaska Highway near Beaver Creek, Yukon. At the time of his death, he was operating a “scraper converted to a packer”, when the tire under the cab exploded directly under his seat, crushing Anthony between the seat and roof of the cab. He died instantly. Anthony is fondly remembered by family, friends and those who were privileged to work with him. |
