Neil
Enright, 22
In November, 1988, Neil Enright, a skilled
computer technician, was asked to check a
suspected faulty bearing in a plant conveyer at
a gravel pit. He was caught up in the mechanism
and died instantly. Neil dreamed of becoming a
fire-fighter, like his Dad. His death led to
substantial changes in safety regulations
governing mining sites. He was 22. |
