Ronald Slack, 24, Springhill, Nova Scotia
On September 10, 1970 at about 3:00
a.m., Ronald was cleaning a card machine when his hand was caught in a pulley belt. His hand was badly crushed. He lost a finger and tore his tendons. The injury was not felt to be a major one and he underwent surgery the same day, but failed to regain consciousness. Ronald died three days later. “Ronnie” thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing and
snowmobiling.
He was a kind, considerate, tolerant young man with a warm, friendly disposition which endeared him to all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, son and brother and was very popular. |
