Wayne Hirtle, 24, Harmony, Queen’s Co., Nova Scotia
On November 29, 2001, Wayne became entangled in moving machinery at a sawmill.
The workers were taking a break; Wayne was one of the last ones to leave, as he always liked to keep the edger clear. His coat was caught in the chains, pulling him into the gear and causing multiple injuries. Wayne was a fun loving guy who helped everybody and loved fishing, darts, hunting and four-wheeling. |
